St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has dropped its 2027 lineup, confirming Auckland’s Western Springs as the tour’s final stop on Sunday 21 February, an 18+ show marking the festival’s 22nd year.

The trans-Tasman run kicks off in Sydney on 12 February, then Brisbane (13 Feb) and Melbourne (19 Feb), before wrapping in Tāmaki Makaurau. This year’s bill leans heavily on artists at genuine career peaks rather than just rising names.

Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. headline, playing their first Aotearoa show ever after a run that’s included a headline set at Reading and Leeds, sold-out arena tours, two Grammy nominations and back-to-back BRIT Awards. They’ll be previewing new material from their upcoming fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, with an extended headline set.

Also making her first Aotearoa appearance as a solo artist is Hayley Williams, the Paramore frontwoman and three-time Grammy winner Billboard has ranked among the 50 greatest rock singers of all time. Her recent solo shows across the Tasman sold out almost instantly, and Laneway is being billed as the only chance to catch “The Hayley Williams Show” in this part of the world, an extended set built around her Grammy-nominated album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

The pop contingent is stacked: Slayyyter makes her Aotearoa debut off the back of a viral Coachella set and a Reading & Leeds mainstage slot in front of 80,000 people, joined by Slovak breakout artist ADÉLA (currently sitting at No.1 in the US with “Ain’t in LA” and “Nicole Kidman”), Kim Petras fresh off her Detour record, MUNA, and Rachel Chinouriri.

Electronic and hyperpop fans get Ninajirachi headlining the Everything Ecstatic Stage, HorsegiirL debuting a new live show, Rommulas, Danny L Harle, Daine, Jane Remover and Tiffany Day. The rock and alternative side brings Rico Nasty’s Laneway debut, Brooklyn shoegaze veterans DIIV returning after more than a decade away, Automatic, and Ecca Vandal, alongside Irish acts Bleech 9:3, Florence Road and Gurriers.

Local representation runs deep this year, with Balu Brigada, Mokomokai, Office Dog, Greatsouth and O & The Mo all on the Auckland bill, plus 1TBSP and DJ_Dave soundtracking between sets.

Tickets: Pre-sale (presented by Afterpay) opens Wednesday 7 October, 11:00am NZDT, running 23 hours or until sold out. General on-sale follows Thursday 8 October, 11:00am NZDT.
