A$AP Rocky is heading to New Zealand. The rapper, actor and fashion killa will play a one-off show at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday 12 December 2026, his first visit to the back in eight years.

The date is part of the Don’t Be Dumb World Tour, promoted by Live Nation and presented by Mai FM, and it’s the first chance for NZ fans to hear his fourth album, DON’T BE DUMB, live. The album is his first project in eight years, with cover by Tim Burton and guest appearances from Tyler, The Creator, Doechii, Gorillaz, Brent Faiyaz, Thundercat, Jon Batiste, will.i.am and others.

A huge run in Europe
The New Zealand show follows the tour’s European and UK leg, which the announcement describes as a sold-out run of 25 arena dates across 19 countries. It included the fastest-selling rap show ever in Greece and made Rocky the first rap artist to play eight arena shows across Central and Eastern Europe.

In Paris, he also staged his SS27 fashion show, which drew a record 6,000 people, then took the stage at Accor Arena for a sold-out show the same night.

Who is A$AP Rocky?
Born Rakim Mayers, Rocky emerged in 2011 and has since passed 25 billion total streams, according to the release. His first two albums, LONG.LIVE.A$AP and AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP, both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and his 2018 album TESTING has passed a billion streams worldwide.

Outside music, he co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala, wearing pieces from his own AWGE brand, and appeared in two A24 films that year: Highest 2 Lowest, directed by Spike Lee, and If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. He’s also Creative Director of Ray-Ban and PUMA, and AWGE, his creative agency, has run partnerships with brands like Marine Serre and Selfridges.

What it means for Auckland
Eight years is a long gap for a rapper with this kind of following, and for a lot of younger fans this will be their first chance to see him live. With several presales running before the public sale, the best advice is to register early. Demand for one-off arena dates usually means the better seats go within the first few hours.
